Sunshine! We had a lovely weekend full of sun. We (meaning The Brit) cleaned up the backyard so for those of you hoping to look and contemplate the exhibits of the dog poop museum I'm sorry to inform you that you are too late. (Chances are we'll soon have more "items on display" so don't despair.) We also hung up the windchime our friends Kate and John gave us. It's an Arcosanti original but I have to admit that we ended up taping some bubble wrap around the ringer because everytime it rang out (which was often) Elgin barked at it.
We also had Rachie for the weekend which is always fun and went out with Riley's "parents", April and Hardy, on Saturday. We went to the Hillsdale McMenamin's Battle for the Belt at which we tasted many, many beers. I was immediately charmed by the Lighthouse Brewery's OR Ator beer although it's pronounced more along the lines of the ator in "terminator" rather than how we pronounce The P's real name.
On Sunday The Brit and I ventured out to Multnomah Falls for a quick look-see. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to really explore the area due to the large black lab who took my knee out the day before at the dog park but I know we'll return soon and do some hiking.
